The Housekeeping Manager has a role
of leadership in managing requests from both guests and hotel teams. The
Housekeeping Manager must possess excellent customer service skills, is
responsible for a large team around the hotel and must be visible to the guests
and staff.

Manager Housekeeping harus memiliki kemampuan pelayanan pelanggan yang sangat

melayani tamu dan karyawan dengan baik.
The Housekeeping Manager is
responsible for the housekeepers, laundry and dry cleaning workers, and
tailors.
Housekeeping Manager bertanggung jawab atas housekeeper, staff Laundry & Dry Cleaning, dan penjahit.
The housekeepers provide housekeeping
services for the whole hotel including public, offices and rooms.

Each of the areas warrant a separate
work load. Each of these areas requires different knowledge, skills, abilities
and levels of work.
Setiap area memiliki beban kerja yang
terpisah. Masing-masing area yang berbeda membutuhkan pengetahuan,
keterampilan, kemampuan dan tingkat kerja.
- Ability to handle manual labor intensive tasks utilizing cleaning equipment, laundry and dry cleaning equipment and/or machinery.
Kemampuan

kebersihan, laundry dan dry cleaning.
- Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks.
Kemampuan
untuk melakukan berbagai tugas pembersihan.
- Applies knowledge of dry cleaning techniques, laundry operations and knowledge of standard practices and procedures of tailoring.
Memahami
pengetahuan tentang teknik dry cleaning, laundry operation dan pengetahuan
tentang standard operation procedure menjahit.
- Ability to interpret and follow direction.
Kemampuan
untuk menginterpretasikan dan mengikuti arahan / perintah.
- Internal and external contacts with customers to discuss services.

- Follows Health and safety regulations and guidelines.

- Applies knowledge of cleaning techniques, and proper use of chemicals and solutions.

Ineffective job performance can
negatively affect customer service, cost, appearance, convenience, health and
safety and public image of the hotel.
Kinerja yang
tidak efektif akan dapat berpengaruh negative terhadap layanan pelanggan,
biaya, penampilan, kenyamanan, kesehatan dan keselamatan serta citra hotel.
The Housekeeping Manager ensures
operational and safety procedures are followed provides daily work direction
and makes on the spot decisions regarding changes in daily working assignments
of subordinates.
Housekeeping Manager memastikan operasional dan
prosedur keselamatan dilaksanakan, memberikan arahan pekerjaan sehari-hari dan
membuat keputusan mengenai pelaksanaan tugas kerja bawahan setiap harinya.
While functioning in a supervisory
capacity, the Housekeeping Manager is responsible for exercising some
independent judgment in problem solving and reports any incidents or issues to
the Hotel Management.
Dalam hal fungsi pengawasan, Manager
Housekeeping bertanggung jawab untuk melaksanakan penilaian independen dalam
pemecahan masalah dan melaporkan setiap kejadian atau masalah kepada Manajemen
Hotel.
- Plans, schedules, assigns work to subordinates (Supervisors and teams) and inspects their work.
Membuat
rencana kerja, jadwal, membagi pekerjaan bawahan (Supervisor dan staff) dan memeriksa pelaksanaan pekerjaan mereka.
- Demonstrates ability to provide direction, leadership, and training to employees.
- Maintains external contact with agency personnel, general public, and outside vendors to resolve problems, purchase supplies, and provide general information.
Menjaga hubungan
baik dengan personalia, masyarakat umum, dan vendor luar untuk menyelesaikan
masalah persediaan barang, pembelian, dan menyelesaikan masalah – masalah umum
yang terjadi.
- Applies knowledge of management principles and practices.
Mempunyai pengetahuan
yang cukup tentang prinsip-prinsip manajemen perusahaan.
- May supervise shift workers and inspect and approve contract workers.
Mengawasi dan
memeriksa pekerjaan semua shift, serta menyetujui kontrak kerja staff baru.
- Ensures detailed operational and safety procedures are followed.
Memastikan dilaksanakannya
prosedur keselamatan dalam kegiatan operasional.
- Manages Supervisors and employees with responsibility for certain aspects of hiring and staff evaluation.
Bertanggung jawab
terhadap perekrutan dan evaluasi supervisor dan staff.
